In recent months Auralia has constructed a national mint in Wanderer’s Landing, spreading the fame and gold of the country even further via coinage. Much to Lord Cernan’s consternation, it seems even the coin’s designers are adoring fans.

Located on the southeastern border of Brevoy, Auralia was established in Sarineth of 4710AR. Built on contributions by the Sword Lords of Brevoy, it was originally intended to be a small barony set to retake the Stolen Lands to aid in Brevian stability. It was never formally required to be a vassal state to absolve Brevoy of responsibility should the likely event of social collapse occur to the fledgling nation.
A number of factors contributed to an explosive national growth beyond what anyone could have anticipated. The somewhat unexpected discoveries of large deposits of gold and silver within the nation set a stable foundation for the fledgling economy. Dubiously asymmetric trade agreements were set in favor of Auralia by their wily magister while in trade talks with Brevoy’s regent. Most of all, though, the nation’s leader, Lord Ozolinsh, was possessed of an entrancingly powerful charisma and aura of divine right, causing hopeful peasants and religious zealots to flock to the nation in hope of salvation.
Auralia is a moderately sized barony, standing at 550,000 hectares. Its national alignment is lawful good, and its national religions are Iomedae, Abadar, Erastil, and Sarenrae. It has established three settlements, Wanderer’s Landing, Olegton, and Old Sycamore. Its primary exports are gold and silver finery, with secondary exports being lumber, furs, and staple foods. Notable holidays in Auralia include Stagfall Day, which commemorates the slaying of a local bandit lord, Armasse, in celebration and commemoration of Iomedae, and Taxfest.
The nation’s capital of Wanderer’s Landing is set overlooking the Shrike river, set on a sloping hill capped by the seat of power, Stagfall Keep. As of Desnus, 4711AR, it has a population of approximately 5600 residents, with demographic composition of 94% human, 5% kobold and 1% other. It is most notable for containing the world’s largest cathedral to Iomedae. Its primary industries are gold and silverworking, tourism, and a growing academic campus. It has a progressive stance on social welfare rights, providing free distributed housing to poor families, and provides clean water citywide via magical means.
